Blood in dog stool home remedies

There are plenty of home remedies that you can try to cure the

bleeding in dog stool in dogs. This article has some of the most

popular solutions on home remedies for dog stool blood.

If your dog is having a bowel movement and it is bloody, you

should get to the vet immediately, as the dog can easily become

seriously ill. A dog that is bleeding internally has a decreased

ability to maintain itself in a healthy state. He or she may become

weak and could even have a shock. To avoid this scenario, there are

a few home remedies that can help you curb the bleeding in dog

stool.

Causes of dog stool blood

Bleeding in dog stool is a symptom of a more serious

problem. Some dogs have a congenital defect that can cause

bleeding, while others have inflammation and other conditions that

make their blood vessels break. When this occurs, the dog will

sometimes need medical care, but there are some things you can do

to help bring the bleeding under control.

Home remedies to stop bleeding in dog stool

Here are some home remedies for stopping bleeding in dog

stool. This article may help to lower your blood pressure, and you

could also consider using some of these remedies for dog skin

problem treatments.

1. Baking soda

Baking soda is a simple and effective remedy for bleeding in

dog stool. You can easily put a few drops of baking soda into some

warm water to create a nice warm bath for your dog. After it is in

the bath, you can put your dog into it to help the baking soda

cleanse the intestines of any remaining blood. You can also put the

soda in a spray bottle and mist the dog for some additional help.

Just make sure that the dog is well-hydrated.

2. Castor oil

You can also use castor oil to help treat your dog's internal

bleeding. This oil is rich in fatty acids and can help your dog

absorb iron from the blood more easily. If you keep a spoon in your

kitchen, you can add a spoonful of castor oil to your dog's food.

The dog can then ingest the oil and get the benefits of it, but not

have any of the oil itself to irritate the intestines.

3. Baking soda, vinegar, and olive oil

Using a spoon, pour a mixture of baking soda, vinegar, and

olive oil over the stool and let it set for about an hour.

4. Salt

A handful of salt sprinkled onto your dog's food can also help

treat this problem. The salt can help absorb blood from the stool

and will help to clean the intestines and the blood from the bowel

lining. Just make sure that you avoid pouring salt directly on the

dog. The salt could end up irritating the digestive tract and

resulting in diarrhea. Instead, sprinkle the salt on the dog's food

and let the dog eat it. This will get the salt to do the same work

that it does if poured on the dog's stomach.

5. Cucumber

Using a spoon, place a slice of cucumber inside your dog's

bowel.

6. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is another one of my favorite solutions

for internal bleeding. Just pour a cup of apple cider vinegar on a

platter or bowl and place the bowl on top of the dog's stool. Let

the vinegar sit there for 30 minutes or so and then brush the

solution away. Repeat this treatment three or four times a day.

7. Garlic

Garlic is another traditional remedy that is just as effective

today as it was in the past. Just grate a fresh garlic clove and

place the clove into a cup. Then, get out a cup of warm water.

Boil these two ingredients together and let the solution sit for

about 30 minutes. Once the solution cools down, use a spoon to apply

the solution to your dog's diarrhea and let it sit there for another

30 minutes. Brush the solution away and do this treatment daily.

8. Honey

Honey is one of my all-time favorite

diarrhea remedies. It helps keep your dog's gut moving and aids in

digestion. It's also a great antibiotic so it kills off any

potentially harmful bacteria that might be in your dog's stool.

There's no scientific proof that honey is harmful, but there have

been instances where dogs had a reaction to the raw honey.

Therefore, make sure you use raw honey and that you let your dog

eat it when it's cool. Don't give it to your dog on an empty stomach

since it may upset his stomach. For the best results, give your

dog's honey treatment once a day.

9. Ginger

Like honey, ginger is an

incredible anti-inflammatory that can alleviate your dog's

stomach's discomfort. Get your dog a ginger tea or a ginger

solution. Simply boil two teaspoons of grated fresh ginger in a cup

of water. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes and then

strain out the ginger. The ginger solution is then ready to use.

Drink a cup of this solution every day. Another great way to use

this natural remedy is to rub the tea into your dog's fur around

the anus area or to put some of the solution on cotton balls and

leave them in there for five to seven minutes. Then, pull the

cotton balls out and place them on your dog's skin around the

anus. This will alleviate the problem quickly.

10. Cucumber

Cucumbers are also another

ingredient that can help your dog's digestive system.

To make a remedy for your

dog's diarrhea, boil two large and thin cucumbers in enough water

to make a light tea. Let the mixture cool and then let your dog

drink it until it's finished. If he won't drink it on his own, then

give him a small amount on a spoon and put it in his mouth. Your

dog will soon be good as new.

11. Potato

Potatoes can soothe your

dog's upset stomach and relieve diarrhea. Get your dog a potato

soup. Chop one potato into a medium size. Heat it in a pot or a

microwave and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Don't let your

dog drink the water or it will dilute the healing properties of

the potato. When the potato is finished cooking, take it out of the

microwave and give it to your dog.

12. Onion

Another way that onions can

help your dog's digestive system is by giving him a little bit of

the onion juice or simply eating the whole onion raw. Try putting

the onion in your dog's food.

To make the onion juice, just

grate the onion and let it sit for a few hours. The longer it

sits, the more of the onion juice will be produced.

Alternatively, you can eat

the raw onion.

Just cut it into little bits and

put it in your dog's mouth. Your dog will most likely love the

taste of the onion.

13. Garlic

Garlic can also relieve your

dog's upset stomach and alleviate diarrhea.

To make the garlic tea, boil

a half a pound of garlic in water for 10
